Thanks for the suggestion, Amy. It was an interesting article and I can see the controversy. One of the article's commenters mentioned that it's basically Dadaist poetry, which I dabbled with myself back in high school and liked. But I have to agree that it will be really unfortunate if this starts to get some major critical attention, seeing there are so many great, unheralded contemporary poets out there...Not that I'm biased or anything :)
I am a children's librarian living, working, and reading in Illinois. It makes me happy to help folks--of any age!--find books they'd like to read. I am passionate about early literacy initiatives, science and math programming, and engaging kids of all ages with stories whenever I can.
